Tragedy in Kocani, four patients who were treated in Bulgaria return to the country

Almost four weeks after the tragedy in Kocani, treatment of the injured continues. A total of 64 patients remain for treatment and rehabilitation abroad.

Four of those injured in the fire in Kocani will be discharged from the Pirogov Hospital in Sofia, Bulgaria, today, while the same number remain there for treatment.

"Today, during the day, four patients are expected to return from treatment at the Pirogov Hospital in the Republic of Bulgaria. Currently, the patients are being categorized according to their rehabilitation needs to ensure appropriate further treatment for the injured," the Ministry of Health.


The parents of those injured in the terrible fire in Kochani, who were released today for home treatment, thanked Bulgaria, the Bulgarian people and all blood donors, and expressed hope that the injured who remained hospitalized will soon be able to return to their homes.

The fire that broke out on March 16 at the so-called "Pulse" discotheque injured about 200 people, while the death toll reached 61. Some of the injured have been transferred to other places for treatment. /Telegraph/
