The Mayor of Kaçanik Municipality, Besim Ilazi, in the show "Complaints Office", on RTV Dukagjini, spoke about the ban on vehicle traffic on the Kaçanik-Hani i Elezit road, as the citizens, according to him, still do not have an alternative road for traffic.
Ilazi said that the citizens have expressed their concern with a protest even though they had promises from the Ministry of Infrastructure that a solution will be made by opening an alternative road.
"Kaçanik and some small municipalities have been left aside. It has been a concern of the citizens as the road has been closed without any alternative route. On Sunday, with two officials of the ministry, we walked from that area and we were promised that a solution would be made very soon, and so far nothing has been done", said Ilazi.
Otherwise, the Ministry of Infrastructure issued a decision to stop the traffic of vehicles on the national road N2, Kaçanik-Hani i Elezit, until an indefinite period after it presented a risk of landslides and stones. /Telegraph/
