(Completed) - A Kosovo Security Force soldier was injured as a result of an accident between a train and a car near the "Adem Jashari" Barracks in Pristina.
This was announced by the chairman of the Commission for the Investigation of Aeronautical and Railway Accidents and Incidents (KHAIA), Mirsim Beqiri, who said that the investigation team immediately went to the scene of the incident to conduct the necessary examinations in cooperation with the Kosovo Police.
"Today at around 16:10, at the entrance to the "Adem Jashari" Barracks in Pristina, a railway accident occurred, in which a member of the KSF was injured. The KHAIA care team immediately went to the scene and is conducting the necessary examinations in cooperation with the Kosovo Police," he wrote.
Traffic accident between a train and a car
A traffic accident occurred today between a train and a car near Adem Jashari Barracks.
According to initial information, the car blocked the path of the train, causing the collision.
There are no known injuries yet, while full details are expected to be confirmed by police.
