Torino president Urbano Cairo has commented on the situation of Albanian midfielder Kristjan Asllani, leaving open the possibility of his departure during the winter transfer window.

In a statement to Italian media, the 68-year-old praised Asllani's performances, emphasizing his technical qualities, but at the same time admitted that the midfielder's future remains unclear due to the dynamics of the January transfer window.

"Asllani has had some good matches and some not so good ones, like the rest of the team. He has extraordinary qualities. He uses both his right and left foot very well, so much so that it is not known which is stronger."

"Then we will see what the January transfer window brings, it always contains surprises," Cairo said.

There is no shortage of interest in the Albanian midfielder, as several clubs have shown willingness to transfer him.

Among the teams mentioned are Girona, Parma and Sassuolo, which are closely following his situation.

Kristjan Asllani joined Torino during the summer, on loan from Inter, with the aim of gaining more minutes and consistency in the game.

So far, the 23-year-old has made 16 appearances for Torino this season.

The future of the Albanian midfielder is expected to be clarified in the coming weeks, as the January deadline could bring new developments to his career.Telegrafi/
