Tomorrow is the deadline for ratification, the Government approves the multi-million dollar agreement with the World Bank

The government cabinet of the "Kurti 3" government held its first meeting for this year today.
Within the framework of this meeting, the Draft Law on Ratification of the Financing Agreement for the First Program for "Financing Development Policies for Fiscal Effectiveness, Competitiveness and Green Growth", an agreement between Kosovo and the International Development Association, part of the World Bank, was approved.
The Minister of Finance, Hekuran Murati, has announced that the agreement has a total value of 90.3 million euros.
"The repayment period is 12 years, with a zero percent interest rate. Given the importance of the agreement and the favorable financial conditions, I invite you to approve it to proceed to the Assembly for ratification," said Murati.
The agreement is now expected to be reviewed and ratified by the Kosovo Assembly, with Friday, February 13, being the final date for ratification.
In addition, the Government has approved and proceeded further in the Assembly with several other agreements of strategic importance:
-Draft law on the ratification of the agreement between Kosovo and the EU on the implementation of the Union's support for Kosovo within the framework of the Reform and Growth Instrument;
