Tirana Bank has been awarded the prestigious title "Bank of the Year 2025 in Albania" by The Banker, one of the most important publications in the global financial sector and part of the Financial Times group.

With a long history dating back to 1926, The Banker is known for its financial market analysis, rigorous valuation methodology, and international reputation in over 160 banking markets.

This important award highlights Tirana Bank’s consolidated performance over the past few years, a period characterized by sustainable growth, consolidated financial performance, digital transformation and customer experience orientation. At the official ceremony held in London, representatives of the bank received the trophy as a clear testament to the standards achieved.

The Banker's assessment comes a few months after the bank was named "Best Bank in Albania 2025" by Euromoney, making this year one of the most important chapters in the institution's history: two of the most trusted names in the international financial industry confirm the same thing, Tirana Bank is shining!

“Being recognized as ‘Bank of the Year in Albania’ by The Banker is an extremely important achievement for us. This award, together with the recognition received from Euromoney, clearly shows that our work is being perceived and appreciated both domestically and internationally. We are proud of everything we have built and determined to continue at the same ambitious pace.”, said Mr. Dritan Mustafa, Chief Executive Officer of Tirana Bank.

According to the Financial Times methodology, the “Bank of the Year” awards evaluate banking institutions on several fundamental criteria: financial growth and stability, technological transformation, quality of customer experience and real contribution to the country’s economy. Tirana Bank stood out in particular in each of these dimensions, thanks to its measurable results and institutional culture focused on performance and innovation.

This international assessment adds weight to the bank's reputation and positions it even more strongly as a dynamic institution with an important role in the development of the financial sector in Albania.
