TikTok now has a new artificial intelligence-based tool called AI Alive that allows users to turn photos into videos with the help of captions. The user's request determines how they want the video to look.
It can be accessed through TikTok's Story Camera and uses intelligent editing tools that allow anyone, regardless of video editing experience, to transform static images into engaging short videos with movement, atmosphere, and creative effects, according to a post on TikTok's blog.
TikTok says it has implemented security measures for these videos, reports the Telegraph.
“To prevent users from creating content that violates our policies, moderation technology reviews the uploaded photo, the written AI question, and the AI Alive video itself before it is shown to the creator,” TikTok states.
"A final security check is performed when the creator decides to post the video to their Story," it said, among other things.
The video will also be marked as generated by artificial intelligence. /Telegraph/
