The spokesperson for the Central Election Commission, Valmir Elezi, has announced to Telegrafi that the CEC has been notified by the Electoral Panel for Complaints and Submissions that three complaints have been filed with this institution by a political entity.
Elezi, in a statement to Telegrafi, said that the CEC will await a decision regarding these complaints before proceeding with the announcement of the final results of the Kosovo Assembly Elections.
"The CEC has been notified by the Electoral Complaints and Appeals Panel that three complaints have been filed with this institution by a political entity. Therefore, the CEC will await the decision of the ECAP and possibly the Supreme Court before proceeding with the announcement of the final results of the Elections for the Assembly of Kosovo, which were held on February 9, 2025," he said.
Otherwise, today the Vetëvendosje Movement has once again accused the Democratic League of Kosovo of manipulating votes that arrived by mail from the diaspora.
The spokesperson for the Vetëvendosje Movement, Arlind Manxhuka, said that they demand a full investigation into all reported irregularities in order to ensure a clean, fair and honest electoral process.
"It is evident that the scheme used by postal voting in exile. 400% more votes for the LDK, with template votes for certain candidates, while PDK and other opposition parties are extremely far from this trend. As such, we have already reported the violations and irregularities identified to the police and the prosecutor's office," he stressed.
Furthermore, he wrote that they are awaiting concrete and official reactions from the responsible institutions.
