In a recent hands-on test conducted by technology experts, 35 smartphone models were tested to see which phone lasts the longest on a single charge.

The results showed that the iPhone 17 Pro Max dominates the category, combining a 5088 mAh battery with powerful hardware and software optimization.

The experts used two scenarios: long video viewing with Wi-Fi and maximum brightness, as well as daily use that included video games, videos, social networks, and calls.

The test showed that battery capacity isn't everything – system optimization plays an equally important role.

Following the iPhone 17 Pro Max are the iPhone 17 and OnePlus 15, with the latter offering a larger battery (7300 mAh) but failing to surpass the winner due to less efficient optimization.

Other highly rated models include the Poco F7 Ultra, iPhone 17 Pro, several Motorola and OnePlus models.

This test clearly shows: users seeking maximum battery life should think not only about milliamp-hours, but also about the efficiency of the phone's system. /Telegraph/
