The Special Prosecution of the Republic of Kosovo has filed an indictment against three persons involved in the terrorist attack on the "Ibër Lepenc" canal, which occurred on November 29, 2024 in the village of Varage, Zubin Potok Municipality.

Two of the defendants are brothers Dragisa and Jovan Vicentijevic, who are currently in custody.

According to the indictment, the Vičentijević brothers, together with other still unknown persons, are suspected of having placed about 20 kilograms of TNT-type explosives inside the "Ibër Lepenci" canal, activating the explosive through a bag tied with rope to a concrete pillar.

The explosion caused severe damage to the canal structure, interruption of the drinking water supply, endangerment of electricity production and major economic damage to the "Ibër Lepenc" enterprise, estimated at 376,774.70 euros.

The prosecution has also announced that Jovan Vičentijević acted as a recruited colonel of the Serbian Military Intelligence Service, collecting information and classified documents about illegal activities in Kosovo.

A third person, with the initials ID, is also charged with the criminal offenses of "Endangering constitutional order by destroying or damaging public installations", "Committing a terrorist act" and "Unlicensed possession of weapons".

The Special Prosecution emphasizes that the attack on the "Ibër Lepenc" canal has had serious consequences for the country's water supply, energy and vital infrastructure, while investigations into other collaborators continue. /Telegraph/
