This is not justice, Grenell: When released, Thaçi should sue all those in The Hague in the US

Former US President Donald Trump's special envoy for the Kosovo-Serbia dialogue, Richard Grenell, has reacted harshly to the European justice system and the way the case of former Kosovo President Hashim Thaçi is being handled in The Hague.
In a post on the X platform (formerly Twitter), Grenell criticized the extension of Thaçi's detention for five years without the full start of the trial, calling this an example of the failure of the European system.
"There are many reasons why Europe is failing. But one example is the large number of European politicians who remain comfortably silent about The Hague, which keeps a president of a country in prison for five years without trial. And then the trial lasts even more years," he wrote.
Grenell added that the European system is "brutal, archaic and elite-driven," stressing that "this is not justice" and that no one should ever take judicial advice from Europeans again.
In the end, he expressed support for former President Thaçi, saying that he hopes he will sue everyone in The Hague in an American court when he is released, since, according to him, "it is American taxpayers' money that finances this system." /Telegraph/

It's a brutal archaic system…
