"This will probably be the end of life as we know it," Musk warns that the Sun will destroy the Earth

The SpaceX founder has long said that humanity should expand its presence in the solar system — especially to Mars, which is the most suitable and achievable target — so that we don't disappear if something bad happens to Earth.
