The country's Prime Minister, Albin Kurti, after the solemn Government meeting to mark the KLA Epic, told reporters that efforts to elect the country's president will continue in the afternoon.

He said he hopes they will have another candidate for president in a way that, as he said, "fulfills the constitutional requirement."

"Now we have a solemn session, then we have the parade of the KSF and in the afternoon we will continue our efforts to elect the president. We wish, believe and hope for a second candidacy in order to fulfill the Constitutional requirement," Kurti said, according to the Telegraph.
