Thieves entered Fatmir Bytyqi's house, took a metal safe with gold, money and valuable watches
The three thieves who robbed the house of SDSM MP and former Deputy Prime Minister Fatmir Bytyqi in the Skopje neighborhood of Butel over the weekend took a metal safe with jewelry and money, as well as a valuable wristwatch. The case has been confirmed by Bytyqi himself.
Bytyqi, who was abroad when the theft occurred, tells "TV24" that he suspects the case has a political background.
"Everything happened around 03:00. The theft lasted from three and a half to four minutes. I have an alarm and video security installed in my house. Three people are registered, two enter the house, and one guards the front door. They took a metal safe that was on the wall. In a word, they took it out. There was money in the safe, but also gold that is very significant for our family. After 6 minutes, the security agency arrived, with which our alarm system is connected," said Bytyqi.
"On 21.04.2025 at 11.40 at SPB Skopje, FB (49) from Skopje reported that in the period from 07:30 on 18.04.2025 to 03:00 on 21.04.2025, appropriate force and a metal tool were used to enter his house in Buteli, while tools, money and other items were taken," the MIA announced today. /Telegraph/
