Trying to gain ground, Ukrainians capture a group of Russian soldiers

On the Kupiansk front, soldiers of the 15th Operational Brigade of the National Guard of Ukraine (NGU) have captured a group of Russian soldiers.

This was reported by the NGU commander, Oleksandr Pivnenko, on Telegram, where he also posted a video of the event, Telegrafi reports.

"They were trying to gain ground, but something didn't go as planned. On the Kupiansk front, fighters from the 2nd Special Purpose Battalion of the 15th NGU Kara-Dag Brigade intercepted a group of Russian soldiers trying to break into our unit's area of responsibility," Pivnenko said.

According to him, the group was spotted in advance by drone operators, who helped create favorable conditions for the infantry's action.

"The invaders decided not to postpone their fate and made the right choice - to surrender and stay alive," Pivnenko said. /Telegraph/
