The State Election Commission (SEC) at today's 157th session declared the 2025 Local Elections officially completed, reports Telegraph Macedonia.
The SEC members also approved the final amendments for the conclusion of the results of the second round of voting for the election of mayors of municipalities and the Mayor of the City of Skopje and the Conclusion for the conclusion of the 2025 local elections for the election of members of municipal councils, the Skopje City Council and mayors of municipalities and the Mayor of the City of Skopje.
The Chairman of the SEC, Boris Kondarko, emphasized that today is the deadline for announcing the final results and concluding on the completion of the elections, after yesterday the Administrative Court officially issued decisions dismissing all lawsuits, respectively confirming the SEC's decisions to dismiss previously issued objections.
"This conclusion on the conclusion of the 2025 local elections states: With the announcement of the final results of the first round of voting held on 19.10.2025 and the final results of the second round of voting held on 2.11.2025 for the election of members of municipalities and the Skopje City Council and mayors of municipalities and the Mayor of the City of Skopje, the SEC informs that in accordance with Article 31, paragraph 2, point 22 of the Electoral Code, the 2025 local elections are officially concluded as of today, November 12, 2025," said Kondarko. /Telegrafi/
