Fatmir Sopi from the KLA OVL believes that Macedonian authorities have no reason not to allow the next protest in support of former KLA leaders who are being tried in The Hague to be held in Skopje.

Sopi, at "FIVE" in Dukagjin, expressed that Albanians in North Macedonia have the will to hold this protest, adding that they also have many comrades there.

"We are convinced that the protest will take place and there is no reason for the Macedonian authorities not to allow it to be held, as it will be a peaceful protest where anger will be expressed against the injustices in The Hague against the former leaders of the Kosovo Liberation Army. We consider that as long as we have not had obstacles in Pristina, The Hague, Strasbourg and Tirana, there is no reason to be prevented from having such a protest in Skopje when it is known that we have many comrades there and when it is known that Albanians are an integral part of the population and the government there and have the will to hold this protest," said Sopi.

"We cannot organize a protest anywhere by force, we have submitted the request officially and we expect that this will not encounter any obstacles," said Sopi.

We recall that the KLA's OVL announced on Friday that the next protest in support of the liberators will be held on December 13th at "Skanderbeg" Square in Skopje.
