The acting Prime Minister of Kosovo, Albin Kurti, has spoken about the formation of the Government.

Kurti emphasized that the most urgent step for institutions is the formation of permanent parliamentary committees.

"We still have two days until the Assembly session for the next prime minister. What I think is urgent for the state of Kosovo is the formation of four permanent parliamentary committees," Kurti said, adding that the dysfunctionality of the committees endangers institutional processes.

He emphasized that after the constitution of the Assembly, all other procedures should move forward without delay.

"Now that we have constituted the Assembly, it is a political mistake and a financial and social damage not to proceed further in the Assembly," said the acting prime minister.

He warned that every day without functional committees harms legal, administrative processes and civic benefits.

"There is no more urgent issue than this," he said.

Kurti also recalled that the 15-day deadline for the mandate proposed by the Speaker of the Parliament, Glauk Konjufca, expires soon.

"The fifteen-day mandate of Prime Minister Konjufca is valid until Wednesday," he said, not indicating whether they have the numbers for the formation of the Government. /Telegraph/
