"ERA" - an emotional journey through Albanian history, today on Cinema Day at a super price of €3.20

One of our top recommendations for today is "ERA", an Albanian film that is leaving its mark at home and abroad.
A work that not only narrates, but also feels, touches, and speaks deeply to the viewer's soul.

About the Movie:
"Wind" It's not just a movie - it's an emotional experience. Directed and written by Parta Kelmendi, this drama brings a sensitive narrative from Kosovo in the 90s, a turbulent period that left deep marks on our society.
At the center of the story is a young girl, forced to flee Pristina to an isolated village due to political oppression and tensions of the time. In this involuntary journey, she faces a lack of freedom, fear, but also a profound process of maturity and awareness.
"The Wind" does not just speak of an individual - but of an entire generation that grew up in times of uncertainty, in silence, under pressure, but with an inner strength that never faded.
The film had its world premiere on 2 June 2025 IN Brooklyn Film Festival, one of the most prestigious events for independent cinema in the US. Right there, actress Zana Berisha was awarded the prize “Best Actress”, an achievement that gave the film the attention it deserved and put Kosovo on the map of international arthouse cinema.
"Wind" is an inner journey in turbulent times. A sensitive narrative, simple in form but profound in content. It is a reminder of what we have been through, and a call not to forget.
