Wife of the singer who lost his life in the Kocani discotheque: The state was inhumane towards me yesterday and it is not true that the band brought the fireworks

Andrej Gorgieski was a co-founder of the band "DNK" that performed at the club where 59 people died in the fire. Gorgieski also died in the tragedy, reports Telegrafi Makedonija.

Today, his wife, Natalija, spoke out, asking the state, police, and media to be understanding about her situation and that of their children.

''At this moment, which is the most difficult for us, the media and state institutions challenge me for the first time to address the Macedonian public.

Yesterday, while I was looking for my husband, Andreja Gjorgjieski, to find him in one of the hospitals, the criminalistics service visited us at our home address, who, without any explanation, were looking for my husband, in the presence of our child.

The same service contacted me several times by phone with the MOST INHUMAN APPROACH possible, asking me for information about my husband's whereabouts, in order to provide a statement about the incident, for which I also addressed the same question to them.

From the media, which are spreading FALSE information, they have learned that my husband is receiving medical treatment at home, while he was lying in the Kocani hospital, dead.

I ask all public media not to spread misinformation on social networks.

I also ask public bodies to conduct a detailed investigation into this entire tragic event.

In this difficult moment for all of us, I PUBLICLY ask institutions and the media to, first and foremost, respect our privacy.

The false posts that my husband is receiving treatment at home and that the pyrotechnics were brought in by the band... please, DO NOT DEFEND SOMEONE WHO SHOULD BE BEHIND BARS!
