The White Drini River overflows its banks, and the camp at Ura e Fshajte in Gjakova is also in the water.

After the heavy rainfall that has covered the country in recent days, the Drini i Bardhë River has also marked a significant increase in water levels, reaching high levels in some segments.
According to images provided by Telegrafi, increased water flows are seen as a result of intense rainfall.
These images also show the flooding of the Ura e Fshajte camp in Gjakova.
The Kosovo Hydrometeorological Institute (KHI) also announced that during the period from January 03, 2026 to January 08, 2026, at 00:00, significant rainfall was recorded in the territory of the Republic of Kosovo.
According to official data from the IHMK, the average rainfall at the national level has reached 97.1 millimeters per square meter (l/m²), which has directly influenced the increase in river levels and flows.
The announcement further states that the state of river levels and flows is as follows: "Most rivers in Kosovo have caused flooding/flooding during these two days, with some of them in some segments overflowing their banks and causing floods of a magnitude once every 50 years (return period).

The announcement states that currently most of the country's rivers are in a slight decline, except for the rivers: Drini Bardhë downstream, Sitnica, Morava e Binçës, Lepenci, which have a slight rise. /Telegraph/
