The vote counting for the local elections in the municipality of Gjilan has been completed.

From 133 polling stations processed out of a total of 133, 36,472 votes out of a total of 107,892 valid votes were counted, or 33,80% of the total.

In the race for mayor of Gjilan, the candidate of the VETËVENDOSJE! Movement, Alban Hyseni, won with 22,269 votes or 61,06%, while the candidate of the Democratic League of Kosovo - LDK, Arbër Ismajli, received 14,203 votes or 38,94%.

This result confirms Hysen's clear advantage and places him at the head of the Gjilan municipality for the next term.
