The value of Serie A teams has undergone significant changes this season, according to an analysis based on data from Football Benchmark.

The club that has recorded the greatest increase is the surprise of the season, Como, while Juventus is the only one among the big clubs that has suffered a decrease in value.

Big boost for Fabregas' Como

The team led by Cesc Fabregas has been one of the most interesting stories of the season, both on the pitch and in economic terms. Como's team value has increased by 60 million euros since the start of the season, going from 268 million euros in September to 328 million euros in February, the biggest increase in the championship.

One of the main reasons for this increase is the development of several young players, especially the talented Nico Paz, whose value has increased significantly this season. The midfielder started the season with a value of 48 million euros, while he is now valued at around 74 million euros.

Inter remains the most expensive team

Meanwhile, Inter continues to have the most valuable team in Serie A, reaching 743 million euros, an increase of 50 million euros compared to the start of the season.

One of the players who has had the biggest impact on this growth is young talent Francesco Pio Esposito, whose market value has increased from €17 million to €51 million.

Milan, Atalanta and Roma on the rise

Several other major Italian clubs have also seen significant increases. Milan have added €26m to their squad value, taking it to €534m. A key factor in this increase is goalkeeper Mike Maignan, whose value has increased from €21m to €34m, partly thanks to a contract extension.

Atalanta have also made progress, with an increase of €18 million, reaching €405 million. The team from Bergamo now has 11 players worth over €20 million.

On the other hand, Roma has registered an increase of 17 million euros, reaching 407 million euros. In this team, the increase in the value of Wesley França stands out, who has gone from 24 to 34 million euros.

Juventus, the only one in decline

At the other end of the table is Juventus, which is the only major club to see a decline in value. The Turin team lost €15 million, falling from €658 million to €643 million.

This comes despite the huge increase in the value of Turkish talent Kenan Yildiz, who has risen from 78 to 91 million euros.

In contrast, the value of striker Lois Openda has dropped significantly, from 70 to 50 million euros. Meanwhile, Edon Zhegrova is no longer in the analysis monitoring, having played only 286 minutes in this championship./Telegrafi/
