The two giants launched offers for Reijnders, 70 million euros are no longer enough - Milan rubs its hands

Tijjani Reijnders is set to start for Milan in tonight's Coppa Italia final, but he is at the centre of a bidding war between Manchester City and Real Madrid, which starts at €70m.

Reijnders is in the headlines for entirely different reasons, as there are numerous reports of big offers on the horizon from some of Europe's biggest spenders.

Manchester City have expressed interest for several months and are ready to follow up with an official offer, as media outlets such as The Athletic, Telegraph Sport and Calciomercato.com claim they are convinced of signing the Dutch international.

The asking price would be no less than €70m, although that figure could rise rapidly after Radio Marca reported today that Real Madrid are making Reijnders one of their top targets this summer.

The player recently signed a new contract with Milan until June 2030, but their failure to qualify for the Champions League could see the club close in on a sale.
