AKI received 23 thousand more than VALEN. Alliance for Albanians MP Halil Snopçe stated that in the recent elections in Macedonia, two opposing judgments are being presented, which, according to him, is impossible.
"The truth is one – and it is determined by the numbers. The winner in the election is determined based on the votes for the councilor lists, because that is where the real support of parties or coalitions is seen," Snopçe said in an interview with "Ora News".
He added that, according to this criterion, the National Alliance for Integration (AKI) received 23 more votes than VLEN, which, as he emphasized, "is the indisputable truth."
Snopçe also said that the failure to clean up the voter lists caused the census to fail in several Albanian municipalities.
MP Halil Snopçe has emphasized that the failure to complete the census in the municipalities of Gostivar, Vrapçisht and Mavrovo-Rostushë is the result of "electoral engineering" due to the failure to clean up the voter lists.
"Today we have hundreds, maybe thousands of dead people still on the lists. In every municipality with a Macedonian majority, the number of voters has decreased, while in Gostivar it has increased by 4 thousand compared to 2021," Snopce declared.
Snopçe called on the Speaker of the Parliament, Afrim Gashi, to schedule the repeat elections in Gostivar and Vrapçisht during the period when expatriates are in the country.
"After the certification of the results by the SEC, the 60-day deadline for the repeat elections begins. It is time for the Albanian diaspora to have the opportunity to vote and show its weight. If this does not happen, then even Mayor Gashi will be considered someone else's pawn," Snopçe emphasized./Telegraph/
