The Special Prosecution of the Republic of Kosovo has detained a suspect in the context of a corruption investigation.
The suspect VN was detained for 48 hours by order of the special prosecutor, under suspicion of having committed the criminal offenses of "Giving Bribery" and "Exercising Influence".
According to the announcement, procedural actions were taken after the collection of initial information and evidence, in accordance with the Criminal Procedure Code and applicable legislation. The case is being handled in full coordination with the Kosovo Police.
Justice institutions emphasize that they remain committed to preventing and combating corruption in the country.
