The play “Hotel Grand” from Kosovo is selected among the best theater plays of 2025 by SEEstage

The theater play "Hotel Grand", with authors and performers Rebeka Qena and Armend Smajli, performed at the Barabar Center in Pristina, has been selected by the regional platform SEEstage as one of the best theater plays of 2025 in Southeast Europe.
According to a statement from the Ministry of Culture, Youth and Sports (MKYS), the play was praised for its artistic approach and emotional power, as well as for its deep treatment of human relationships in the context of war and collective memory.
This assessment ranks "Hotel Grand" as a worthy representative of contemporary theatrical creativity from Kosovo on the international stage.
SEEstage, known as a regional platform for theater criticism and cultural journalism, has emphasized the artistic quality, creative courage, and international potential of this work, calling it one of the most outstanding theatrical achievements of the year.
The Ministry of Culture, Youth and Sports, which supported the production of the show, congratulated the creative team on this success, reiterating the institutional commitment to supporting art and culture that promote Kosovo beyond its borders. /Telegrafi/
