Dogs that seemed harmless attacked a lamb, which later died

Two seemingly harmless dogs attacked and killed a lamb after they were left alone by their owners in Penygroes, North Wales.

The dogs entered a nearby field and attacked the sheep, leaving a lamb seriously injured which later died.

The serious incident was filmed by a farmer who was in the area and immediately notified the sheep's owner.

Police have warned dog owners that all breeds can pose a risk to livestock.

North Wales Police's rural crime team said such attacks are "very common" and urged dogs to always be kept on a lead when in the countryside.

The case has been resolved thanks to the cooperation of the police and representatives of the Welsh Farmers' Union. /Telegraph/
