The second edition of the Peace Forum will be held in Peja – the governor of the Central Bank of Kosovo, Ahmet Ismaili, is invited

The second edition of the Peace Forum is taking place in the city of Peja, an important event that aims to promote dialogue, cooperation and understanding for building peace in the region and beyond.
In this edition, one of the main guests is Ahmet Ismaili, governor of the Central Bank of Kosovo (CBK), who will share his professional experience with the forum participants through the topic:
“Economic Development and Post-War Reconstruction: The Financial Sector as a Foundation for a Peaceful Future”.
According to a media release, Ismaili has extensive experience in the financial and banking sector, having held senior management positions, delivering significant results in both the financial industry and the public sector.
"Dr. Ismaili's professional experience includes various roles within the banking and insurance sectors, culminating in senior Management and Executive positions as well as Board Member in Local and International Financial Institutions. As Governor, Dr. Ismaili chairs the Management Board of the Deposit Insurance Fund and represents Kosovo on the IMF Board of Governors. He also serves as an Alternate Governor for the World Bank Group," the announcement states.
It is further announced that: "The Peja Peace Forum thanks Dr. Ismail for accepting the invitation to share his many years of experience with the Forum participants. This is a special contribution to building peace and understanding in a troubled world."
