The season ends for Dybala

Paulo Dybala will undergo tendon surgery next week and according to La Gazzetta, he will not return to action this season.

The Argentine's season is now over. La Joya will be forced to undergo surgery after suffering a serious tendon injury in a match against Cagliari last week.

The striker and the club confirmed on Thursday that medical surgery was necessary.

La Gazzetta reported that the operation would be carried out abroad (Switzerland, Finland or the US) on Monday or Tuesday, forcing Dybala to be sidelined for at least two months.

This means the striker will not return to action until the end of the season, making his next competitive appearance in 2025-26. Dybala has eight goals and four assists in 36 appearances in all competitions this season. /Telegraph/
