The principals of the "Xhevdet Doda" high school in Pristina have publicly reacted to, as it is said, some incorrect information that is circulating in the public, clarifying that no lectures were held on the school premises by officials or judges of the Special Court.

According to the reaction, the lecture in question was organized by the Youth Initiative for Human Rights in Kosovo (YIHR), an organization known for its educational activities in high schools and universities, with a focus on legal and civic education of young people.

The purpose of the lecture was to inform students about the justice system, the types of courts and how they function, including the Kosovo court that operates in The Hague, within the framework of a general, neutral and educational approach.

During the lecture, the procedures and functioning of the courts were addressed in an informative manner, without political content or biased positions.

The school emphasizes that any other interpretation or claim that suggests otherwise is false and unfounded.

It is also known that YIHR has conducted over 100 similar lectures in high schools and faculties throughout Kosovo, contributing to the increase in legal and civic knowledge of young people.

The response clarifies that the Municipal Directorate of Education was not involved in granting consent for this lecture, while authorization was given by the School Governing Council (SGC).

Finally, school leaders reaffirm their commitment to transparency, quality education, and correct information for students and public opinion, calling on interested parties to contact the relevant organization directly for additional information./Telegrafi.
