After counting the majority of votes from the local elections of October 12, 2025, the Central Election Commission (CEC) has announced that a good number of municipalities will organize a second round of elections on November 9 to determine new mayors.

Istog: Ilir Ferati (LDKs)

Malishova: Ekrem Kastrati (Social Democratic Initiative)

In municipalities with a Serb majority, Serbian List won the elections in:

Northern: North Mitrovica, Zvecan, Leposavic and Zubin Potok

Other: Novo Brdo, Shtërpcë, Gracanica, Ranillug and Partesh

Voter turnout was around 39%, while according to CEC data, 2.069.098 citizens were eligible to vote, including around 44,000 postal voters from abroad (September 17 - October 11).

The electoral process was conducted calmly and without major incidents, reflecting an orderly and transparent organization.
