The NBA regular season ends, the teams that will play in the 'Play-Off' are determined

Last night, the final games of the NBA regular season were played, and thus all the participants in the Play-Offs and Play-Ins of the strongest basketball league in the world were announced.

More precisely, after the Play-In matches, all the 'Play-Off' pairings will be announced, as the best teams of the regular season are still awaiting their first rival in the Play-Off.

The Sacramento Kings and Dallas Mavericks, Golden State Warriors and Memphis Grizzlies will battle for a playoff spot via the playoffs in the West, while the Chicago Bulls and Miami Heat, Atlanta Hawks and Orlando Magic will meet in the East.

So, the format of the competition is such that in the first round they play seventh against eighth, where seventh is the host, or ninth against tenth, where ninth is the host.

The winner of the match between seventh and eighth is a direct participant in the play-offs and will meet the second-placed team after the league part of the season without home-field advantage.

The loser of the duel between seventh and eighth gets a second chance in a home game against the winner of the duel between ninth and tenth. In other words, to reach eighth place in the playoffs, ninth or tenth must score two wins, while seventh and eighth can afford to lose the first game, because then they have a second chance, which they certainly deserved with a better position during the regular season.
