The referee who sent Bellingham off after his UEFA suspension reacts

Spanish judge, Jose Luis Munuera, at the centre of the controversial decision to send off Jude Bellingham during Saturday's La Liga match between Real Madrid and Osasuna, has broken his silence.
The referee showed the Englishman a straight red card for a comment he thought was offensive to him.
Meanwhile, Bellingham has denied offending the official, saying: "There was no intention to offend, there was no insult and therefore I think you can see that there was a misunderstanding."
Since the red card incident, reports in Spain have claimed that Talentus Sports Speakers - a company linked to the official - has business relationships with La Liga, the Spanish Football Federation (RFEF) and several clubs.
In fact, Jose Luis Munuera is currently under investigation by the RFEF for a possible conflict of interest and has been suspended by UEFA for refereeing in Champions League matches and other competitions, reports MARCA, who claim that he will not rule until his current case is concluded.
Now, the official has publicly denied claims of a conflict of interest while appearing on Cadena Cope.
"I was the first to see all this deception, these lies," he declared. "I have been an active part in shedding light on this situation that has been operating for a year and with which I have held four or five conferences and transmitted the values of sport to young people."
"I am very calm and I want to deny all the lies we have been accustomed to in recent months."
In addition to confirming his plans to take legal action over the allegations, Montero opened up about the impact it had on his family.
"This attack is a problem that has been going on for a long time," he added. "What hurts me the most is not me, but that this is getting out of control and affecting my family."
The Spanish Football Federation has condemned the "disgusting" abuse Montero has suffered since Saturday's match between Real Madrid and Osasuna. /Telegraph/
