The reason why Juventus scouts watched the Feyenoord-Milan match and will do it again in a week is revealed

Juventus reportedly had scouts watch the Feyenoord-Milan Champions League match on Wednesday night to closely monitor the performance of centre-back David Hancko, who remains a top target for the Bianconeri in the summer.  

According to reports from Calciomercato.it, representatives from Juventus were present to watch Milan's defeat to Feyenoord at De Kuip to keep a close eye on Hanckon, who had been close to a move to the Allianz Stadium in January.  

The Italian newspaper claims that Juve will send staff to watch Feyenoord and Hancko again when they face Milan in the return leg at San Siro next week. 

Juve had hoped to snap up the 27-year-old in January, but Feyenoord insisted on a fee in excess of €30m, with the Bianconeri unable to reach an agreement.  

Juventus are still very interested in bringing Hancko to Turin. In fact, Calciomercato claims that Cristiano Giuntoli and Thiago Motta want him for the start of the Club World Cup in June.  

There is reportedly an agreement in place for a five-year contract worth around €3m per season in wages. /Telegraph/
