Raids in the north are related to the killing of a EULEX customs officer in 2013

Special Prosecution has announced that today, 19.10.2025, a raid has begun in nine different locations in the north.
KALLXO.com learns that these raids are being conducted in connection with the murder of the EULEX customs officer, a murder that occurred in September 2013.
Audrius Senavicius, a Lithuanian customs officer, was killed on September 19, 2013 after shooting at two EULEX vehicles near Zvecan.
Meanwhile, the Special Prosecution Office has said that the action is being carried out in nine different locations under suspicion of the following offenses: Endangering United Nations personnel or personnel in relation to them; Aggravated murder; Assault on an official person while performing official duty.
The operation is being supported by relevant Kosovo Police units.
"The Special Prosecution Office, together with the Kosovo Police, is undertaking all necessary investigative actions, in accordance with the Criminal Procedure Code. The public will be informed of the details after the operation is completed," the announcement states.
