The Serb from Leposavic, Milan Vukashinovic, whom the Kosovo Police announced on November 3rd was suspected of having been injured and kidnapped by the Serbian Gendarmerie in the territory of Leposavic, worked at the Kosovo Security Bureau at the border crossing in Jarinje.

Regarding this case, the Basic Prosecution Office in Mitrovica confirmed that investigations are ongoing.

"We can confirm that a person close to the victim has been interviewed. The case is being investigated in coordination with the Kosovo Police. At this stage, these are the data we can share with you," Valon Preteni, spokesperson for the Basic Prosecution Office in Mitrovica, told Telegrafi.

Meanwhile, lawyer Ivan Ninic, representing Dragana Vukashinovic – the mother of Milan Vukashinovic from Leposavic – has filed a criminal complaint with the High Public Prosecutor's Office in Prokuplje, Serbia, for the criminal offense of "attempted aggravated murder."

According to the complaint, it was filed against unknown persons, members of the Serbian Army or the Serbian Ministry of Internal Affairs, as well as against Milan Radoicic, former vice-president of the Serbian List, who had claimed responsibility for the armed attack in Banjska, Zvecan, in September 2023.

The incident is suspected to have occurred on November 1 in the village of Jellakce, near Leposaviq, where, according to lawyer Ninic, Milan Vukashinovic was injured by masked men and was then taken first to the Prokuplje hospital and then to the Niš Clinical Center.
