Prosecution in the "Pulse" case: The cause of death of each of the deceased has been proven indisputably

After the Citizens' Association "16 March 2025" raised the alarm about a serious gap between institutional claims and autopsy documentation, which raises questions about whether the true cause of death of the victims at the club has been sufficiently determined.
The Prosecutor's Office emphasizes to "Fokus" that the cause of death of each of the deceased has been determined indisputably and for most of them it is the result of asphyxiation from toxic gases.
"The autopsy findings indicate that it was a combination of carbon monoxide and other toxic gases. Due to doubts about the extraordinary toxicity of the gases that emerged after the fire at the "Pulse", the public prosecutors insisted from the beginning on all the orders issued and asked the experts to express their opinion regarding the composition of the inhaled substances that were a consequence of the fire.
"Such detailed examinations were necessary for three priority reasons: determining the cause of death of the deceased, as an important circumstance for the treatment of survivors, but also to determine the causal relationship between actions and consequences, which was confirmed precisely with these expert reports," the Prosecutor's Office says.
They add that expert reports from the Institute of Chemistry and the analysis by the Ministry of Internal Affairs-OFI on samples of all materials installed in the club and the manner of their combustion confirmed the possibility of the release of cyanide gases as a result of the fire./Telegraph/
