The Trade Union Federation of Technical Workers of the Private Sector of Kosovo (FSPTSPK) has announced that physical and technical security workers at the Ministry of Labor are receiving salaries lower than the minimum wage set by the Government since January 1 of this year.

"Technical workers who work at the Ministry of Labor, where Minister Andin Hoti is based, have received a salary lower than the minimum wage that has changed from January 1, 2026 according to the Government Decision," the announcement states.

Unionists point out that workers have complained about their January salaries and have not received a raise.

"Today is March 10th and these workers have still not received their salaries for February, which in all likelihood will be offered the same salary," it is further emphasized.

According to the federation, the situation has created real chaos in many hospitals and public institutions in Kosovo, due to the delays and abuses that are occurring.

"The workers have not yet received their salaries for the previous month. According to the company owners, the relevant Ministries and Municipal Assemblies are to blame, as they did not allocate the necessary funds to companies that provide services to public and municipal institutions," the announcement states.

The union is investigating the abuses and appeals for transparency and immediate solutions.

"The union is investigating the abuses that are being committed at the expense of workers and will soon come up with accurate data about these abusers," the FSPTSPK announcement states. /Telegraph/
