The Kosovo Presidency has reacted sharply after a manipulated photograph, created through artificial intelligence tools, began circulating on social media, falsely depicting President Vjosa Osmani and Serbian Parliament Speaker Ana Brnabić.
The official response states that the image is completely false, a montage with the clear intention of damaging the image of the President and feeding fabricated narratives that serve foreign agendas.
"The image is FAKE, a montage created to cause confusion and to attack President Osmani, who every day, with seriousness and institutional integrity, protects the interests of Kosovo and represents the state with dignity in the international arena," the reaction states.
The presidency describes this action as low, dangerous, and part of an organized disinformation campaign aimed at damaging the country's leadership and undermining institutional stability.
"President Osmani has been and remains a powerful voice of Kosovo's statehood and dignity. No fake photo can diminish this," it further emphasizes.
The Presidency calls on the Kosovo Police and competent institutions to take measures against the spreaders of this disinformation, warning that such actions violate public security and pose a direct threat to the country's institutions. /Telegrafi/
