The City Theater in Gjilan announces that we are just a few days away from the premiere of the play "CABARE 99", directed by Zana Hoxha, a cabaret that brings to the stage the collective memory of the first years after the war.
According to the announcement, “KABARE 99” takes place in a city called Pristina, in a turbulent time, full of hopes, absurdities, dreams and disappointments. The show uses humor, music and dramaturgy to reflect on a difficult era, creating a space where the past dialogues with the present.
"CABARET 99" is a co-production between the Gjilan Theater and the Artpolis organization, and the premiere has caused extraordinary public interest: tickets for February 5th have all been sold out, while there are still some tickets available for February 6th and 7th.
