This afternoon, a Democratic Party protest took place in front of the Prime Minister's Office. Supporters gathered around 18:00 PM, expecting Democratic Party leader Sali Berisha to join them a few minutes later.

The protest was opened by the leader of the Democratic Party, Sali Berisha, who said that this rally is the "Second Pulpit" and will be followed by weekly rallies.

"The rostrum with the citizens liberated the opposition, the rostrum with the citizens saved the opposition and turned it into a sovereign force, turned it into a party that faced its path. But again it gathers in the second rostrum, This is the second rostrum of the Albanians whose mission is to save Albania, not the opposition. Edvin, you are hopeless. We are in a regime that violates the free vote, which suppresses the opposition. Which is actually rotten from head to toe. Our battle is expected, our determination to archive this regime. We are here to give the opportunity for free speech." - said Berisha.

Speaking at the protest organized in front of the Prime Minister's Office, which he described as podium number two, the leader of the Democratic Party, Sali Berisha, once again expressed the opposition of the force he represents to the law on gender equality, which was approved in Parliament with majority votes.

Berisha said that the Albanian family will remain the most sacred institution of every Albanian and that the DP will never accept the law on gender equality.

"Don't forget that Parliament voted with lightning speed the George Soros law, the law of family destruction, the law with which left-wing supporters of the US, with the influence of Soros, undertook the gender change campaign. The law with which the strictest censorship was imposed. The law with which President Donald Trump faced 35 charges and was fined hundreds of millions of euros. That law was voted by Parliament. That law Albanians will not approve," he said. The leader of the Democratic Party opened this Monday's protest in front of the prime minister's office, being the first of the planned speakers in the announced speeches.

Berisha began his speech by greeting the attendees and introducing the "parliamentary-civic" platform as he called it. He also stated that this week proved that the government is collapsing, while emphasizing that their removal from power remains in the hands of the citizens.
