Rron Broja, one of the most distinguished footballers in Kosovo, has renewed his contract with the champion team, Drita i Gjilani.
The club itself confirmed the news on Friday, announcing that the Mitrovica midfielder will continue to be part of the team for another three years.
"We are pleased to announce that we have continued with captain Ron Broja for another three years," reads the announcement of the newly proclaimed champion in the Kosovo football elite.
"The captain remains loyal to our club and this was announced by the club's sports director, Mr. Valon Zymberi, today with his presentation at the club's premises," their Facebook post further states.
Broja, who wears the captain's armband, is known for his discipline, composure in the game and excellent control in midfield. He played a key role in Drita's journey to the championship title.
He started his career at Trepça '89, while he also gained experience abroad, playing in the championships of Albania, North Macedonia and Belgium. /Telegraph/
