Day nine of the local election campaign, VLEN and AKI candidates continue with activities

The candidates of the vlen and aki coalitions for mayors continued their activities today as part of the campaign for the local elections.
The candidate of the ruling coalition VLEN for mayor of the Municipality of Chair, Izet Mexhiti, in a press conference today presented the first fundamental pillar of the electoral program, a detailed plan for the complete modernization of the road infrastructure and the final solution to the parking problem in the municipality of Chair.
In his speech, Mexhiti emphasized that Chair will become a modern, regulated and functional municipality, where the daily life of citizens will be easier and of higher quality. According to him, the largest investment in the history of the municipality of Chair will be made in parking spaces, with concrete projects that will make the lives of citizens easier.
"Our vision is clear, Çarshi will become a modern, regulated and functional municipality, a place where the daily life of citizens is facilitated, not made difficult. Therefore, in the next four years, our focus will be on capital projects that bring order, security and European standards. There will be no improvisations, but systematic solutions. We have a government decision and an open tender for the construction of a two-story underground parking lot under "Skënderbeu" Square, with a capacity for 800 cars on an area of over 12.500 square meters. This will free up the central core, enable normal functioning and increase the value of the Bazaar", declared Mexhiti.
Meanwhile, his opponent, Bujar Osmani, presented his comprehensive strategy for health and social support for pensioners. The measures, as Osmani emphasized, will be implemented with a dedicated budget, with concrete partnerships and with the involvement of pensioners themselves in their implementation.
"The most important parts of this strategy are the two major health projects, "Home Care" and "Neighborhood Mobile Hospital", through which the municipality, for the first time, will implement the healthcare model that goes to the citizen, and not vice versa. We will form mobile teams composed of doctors and nurses who will visit pensioners in their homes, especially those who live alone. The idea is that these people can be visited by teams of doctors and physiotherapists up to twice a week", explained Osmani.
He emphasized that through the "Mobile Hospital" project, the municipality will organize a caravan of doctors who will conduct free health checks in the neighborhoods of Chair, at certain periods.
The current mayor and candidate for mayor of Gostivar from the National Alliance for Integration (AKI), Valbon Limani, presented part of his youth program during a debate organized at the “iCan” youth center. The program focuses on supporting start-ups and the active involvement of young people in community life and decision-making. One of the key points of this program is the provision of 60.000 denars in grants to young people under 30 who intend to open their own businesses.
"Each year, 30 young people will be supported through this scheme, with the aim of developing and realizing business ideas," Limani declared.
Another initiative is the appointment of 'Ambassadors of Respect' in schools.
"'Ambassadors of Respect' will promote messages against bullying and will play a key role in preventing this phenomenon in educational institutions," Limani added.
VLEN's candidate for Gostivar, Sebaedin Dauti, has also published photos from his activities in a post on social networks.
"Tonight, in Gostivar, I felt the power of unity and the belief that change is inevitable. With One Voice, we are moving towards a European Gostivar that works for the people, not for personal interests. I believe in the politics of honesty, of words that turn into deeds and of work that brings dignity. This is the path we are building together with the citizens, a common, fair and visionary path. On October 19, Gostivar will speak with One Voice, for work, for development and for the future we deserve," Dauti wrote. /Telegrafi/
