Murder of police officer in Kaçanik, Sveçla calls on perpetrators to surrender: State apparatus mobilized to arrest those involved

The Minister of Internal Affairs, Xhelal Sveçla, has reacted to the murder of Kosovo Police Sergeant, Muhamed Lika.

Sveçla, through a post on the social network Facebook, wrote that the attack on any member of the Kosovo Police is a direct attack on the order, institutions and security of the Republic of Kosovo.

He also said that from the moment he received the news, he has been in constant communication with the Police, with the request that the murderer and all the circumstances of the crime be discovered as soon as possible.


"Last night's murder of Kosovo Police Sergeant Muhamed Lika has severely affected each of us and the entire Kosovo Police. Since the moment I received the news, I have been in constant communication with the Police, with the request that the murderer and all the circumstances of this crime be discovered as soon as possible," said Sveçla.

He also called on the perpetrator or perpetrators to surrender to law enforcement as soon as possible, as the entire state apparatus is mobilized without hesitation and without sparing to discover and arrest all those involved in this murder.

"Sergeant Muhamed's contribution both to the liberation of the country and to ensuring order and security for all our citizens will remain an example for every police officer in service."

I express my most sincere condolences to Sergeant Muhamed's family, Kosovo Police officials, and all those who were fortunate enough to know him.

"May he rest in peace on the land of our Republic, which he always served with will and courage," Sveçla wrote, among other things. /Telegraph/
