The Municipality of Pristina has issued a statement regarding the earthquake with a magnitude of 4.8 on the Richter scale that struck southeast Kosovo, namely the Prizren-Shtërpcë area, and was also felt in several other parts of the country.

According to the official announcement, so far there are no reports of injured persons or serious material damage, while the relevant institutions are continuously monitoring the situation.

The municipality has also published instructions for citizens, advising them that in the event of further shaking, they should stay away from windows and objects that may fall, take shelter under sturdy tables or near retaining walls, and after shaking, carefully go out into open spaces.

Citizens are also advised not to use elevators, to avoid unnecessary movements, and to obtain information only from official sources.
