The Municipality of Obiliq appeals for increased caution due to icy and slippery roads

The Municipality of Obiliq has informed citizens that, as a result of intense snowfall and low temperatures, all roads in the territory of the municipality are frozen and slippery, significantly hindering vehicle movement.
"In the territory of our municipality, due to intense snowfall and low temperatures, the roads are frozen and slippery, which is making traffic difficult," the municipality's announcement states.
Municipal authorities have called on citizens to avoid unnecessary movements, use winter equipment and exercise increased caution while driving.
According to the announcement, the competent municipal teams are on the ground and are working to clean the roads, as well as treat them with anti-freeze materials.
"Teams are on the ground and are continuously intervening to clean and treat the roads," it further states.
The municipality has announced that for any emergency or problem, citizens can contact the Kosovo Police or responsible municipal service officials.
