The Municipality of Ferizaj, through the Directorate of Agriculture, has today distributed 260 hives with feeder bees, as well as 20 protective equipment and systems against wild animals to the apiaries of Ferizaj beekeepers.
The Mayor of Ferizaj, Agim Aliu, said that this initiative aims to support the development of the beekeeping sector and encourage local production of honey and other natural products, reports Telegrafi.
"Uroševac has great potential in agriculture and beekeeping, which is why we are continuing to support this sector that brings income to our families and helps the local economy," Aliu emphasized.
This is one of the series of supports that the Municipality of Ferizaj is implementing for farmers and beekeepers this year, with the aim of strengthening production capacities and promoting sustainable agriculture at the local level. /Telegrafi/
