The motivational speech that Atdheu Nuhiu gave to Kosovo players after the victory over Iceland

The Kosovo national team scored a historic achievement after defeating Iceland with an aggregate score of 5-2 in the Nations League play-offs.

This victory has seen Kosovo advance to League B of the Nations League for the first time since they have participated in this competition.

Seven years ago, Kosovo started in League D, while now it has moved up to League B, and this is proof of the work that has been done over these years.

After the end of the match, the enthusiasm among the players was great and the FFK has now published a video, showing the former 'Dardan' striker, Atdhe Nuhiu, giving a motivational speech to the players.

Nuhiu has made a valuable contribution with the Kosovo jersey, and he is now continuing to do the same in his capacity as Franco Foda's assistant.

"First of all, congratulations on the victory, guys. You deserved it for everything you've given over the last few days."

"I am proud of you and very proud to be here with you and thank you for welcoming me so well."

"Second Dion Gallapeni, congratulations on your debut. Vedat Muriqi, hat-trick, congratulations, I love you," said Nuhiu.

His speech was met with loud applause from the players as they all began to sing in unison to celebrate the victory.Telegraph/
