A mother's attempt to put her baby to sleep turned into a bit of chaos when the toddler inadvertently found her hard nose while she was trying to put him down for sleep - and the moment went viral with over 17 million views on TikTok.
In the video, which was captured by a Nest camera, a young boy is seen standing next to a low bed while his mother lies down next to him. As she tries to tuck him in to sleep, the boy suddenly snaps his head back and hits her hard on the nose.
Later, the person who posted the video - named Kailynn on TikTok - said her nose was indeed broken.
She said there wasn't much bruising, but her nose was "pretty crooked" and that she planned to seek another medical opinion and consider surgery.
She also said that her son is still young and occasionally has outbursts, but that she was sorry for what had happened.
In the comments under the video, many TikTok users shared similar stories or reacted with humor.
One joked that the boy will now sleep alone in his bed without hugs, while another commenter who works in a kindergarten said that it is not good to allow children to stand too close to each other for safety reasons, because they have not yet developed a sense of personal space. /Telegraph/
